ADHD coaching
ADHD coaching gives both young people and adults practical skills, support, and accountability, directly targeting the day-to-day challenges ADHD brings. Research shows it can boost confidence, reduce stress, and help to turn goals into achievements.
Both students and adults report not just better performance at school, work, or home, but also greater confidence, lower stress, and more optimism about the future.

Weekly sessions, in blocks of six
Each week, we identify what’s most important right now - whether that’s meeting deadlines, organizing study/work, or building routines. Together, we break big goals into manageable steps, create practical strategies, and set realistic timelines - all with the aim of building independence and confidence over time.
You will also learn simple tools, like relaxation and mindfulness, to bring more calm and balance into your day.

What ADHD coaching is, and what it isn’t
ADHD coaching is:
- A practical, skills-based approach that helps you manage time, stay organized, and follow through on tasks.
- A supportive partnership that offers encouragement, accountability, and practical tools for everyday challenges.
- Helpful at any life stage: whether that’s keeping up with school or university work, managing a job, or balancing family responsibilities.
ADHD coaching isn’t:
- Therapy: coaching focuses on action and skills, not exploring past experiences or deep emotions.
- Directive: it doesn’t tell you what to do, and the focus of each session is led by you.
- An easy fix: it doesn't change who you are, and it often works best alongside other supports such as medication.
What the evidence says
Strongest evidence: students and young people
- A large study with university students found that those receiving ADHD coaching had better self-regulation, improved study skills, and higher well-being than their peers.
- Short coaching programs (around 8 weeks) have shown consistent benefits, including stronger learning strategies, greater self-confidence, and reduced stress around schoolwork.
Adults benefit too
- Early studies with adults show promising results, with many reporting improvements in organization, time management, and daily functioning.
- While more research is still needed, the overall evidence is encouraging for people at all ages.
